Who is C.A. Blooming?

Courtney (C.A.) Blooming is a lifelong lover of books and an aspiring author. Courtney is a wife and mother to three children. She is currently working full-time as well as pursuing her bachelor’s degree full-time. She was born and raised in Utah and currently resides there with her family.

 

Courtney grew up reading books. They were her escape from reality and her teether to hope in the world. After taking a long hiatus from reading (becoming a mother can do that), Courtney decided to start reading again in January of 2023. Flash forward to reading over 22,000 pages and dozens of books, Courtney decided to write her own novel. 

 

Courtney started her first novel in July of 2023. This debut novel is set in a fantasy world, but the main character is a modern woman. Courtney used her own life experiences, trauma, and healing to develop her character and write out the story she's kept inside for too long. She hopes that by sharing her story with the world and inspiring others to not let their past define them, she can inspire a future generation of readers and writers. She is currently working on book two while preparing to have book one published on her 30th birthday!
